With his work, he has been able to get into Pro Football Hall of Fame, obtaining notable distinctions such as the Writer of the Year Award and Writer’s Honour Roll by the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Growing up legendary sports writer Ray Mirra Jr became a frequent guest on NFL games, special events and in the media. Despite his profession is so overwhelming, Ray still has gained control over his day-to-day activities.

For fifteen years, Ray has written over one hundred sports columns in the Philadelphia Inquirer and has been a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the NBC Sports Football Committee, which selects the person who will announce NFL on NBC games. Ray has seen a lot during his career, and he has aptly used this as the vehicle for his journalistic style and with that created a great writing style to go with.

Mr. Mirra has been a journalist for over 30 years and is best known for his time spent with NFL Films, where he has been the field producer on more than 800 hours of game footage and wrote ten books that tell about his love for football, the players of the game, and his career in sports. Mr. Mirra is currently an analyst for Comcast Sportsnet in Philadelphia, where host Kevin Burkhardt often asks Ray to share memorable moments on the field. He’s also a die-hard Eagles fan who enjoys watching football, baseball, basketball and hockey across all screens. Ray Mirra was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011 and is often consulted on game predictions, including the Super Bowl matchup.

Now in its ninth season, Ray has devoted his life to bringing viewers close to the action during the Super Bowl through his career with NFL Films and Comcast Sportsnet.

Not everyone has the chance to cover the Super Bowl. I’ve chosen to do so for more than 25 years, and I’ve made a lot of friends doing so. During that time, I have become an analyst at Comcast Sportsnet in Philadelphia, where I am under contract through 2018. Anyone who has grown up following football knows that the Pats are extremely competitive and are looking. To avenge their only loss without the support of Tom Brady. This is the 57th Super Bowl this year and is the culmination of a long battle for NFL supremacy. Between these two teams for 90 years. What makes the Super Bowl so special? It is really obvious why it should matter to us fans. That’s because Super Bowl LIII has been worth over $921 million in revenue alone since 1997. More than any other football game! That’s insane when you think about it.

The Super Bowl is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. I started covering the game with NFL Films. In 1982 and it’s been a great place to work for me over the years. In this series, I look at the Super Bowl coaches, their history. And how they’ve turned around teams that are winless in the Super Bowl. There’s nothing like the Super Bowl and the time of year when it happens. You’ve been looking forward to a while now and are in complete anticipation. Of what might happen on the biggest stage of them all. This year, we have Super Bowl 52, which will air Sunday February 3rd at 6:30 PM EST from NRG Stadium in Houston.
