When you need an X-ray or fluoroscopy exam, there’s no need to schedule an appointment. Just walk in during our hours of operation and we’ll take care of you. We offer a variety of X-ray exams, so be sure to choose the one that’s right for you. You can also schedule your radiology exam online. Just select the type of exam you need and choose a time that’s convenient for you. We’ll send you a confirmation email with all the details. Booking ahead is never required but it helps us better prepare for your visit.

Walk-In Hours

At our radiology center, we offer convenient walk-in hours for diagnostic X-rays and bone mineral density tests. No appointment is necessary – simply come in during our walk-in hours listed below. We have locations throughout the area, so finding a center near you is easy. Plus, our online scheduling system makes it even easier to get the care you need. Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm we schedule an X-rays and Fluoroscopy exams on a first come, first served basis. You will be seen by the next available technician when you arrive at one of our facilities. If no technician is available or if there are other patients ahead of you, then we recommend coming back later or trying another location.

X-Rays may take between 20 minutes to one hour depending on your body part being examined and how many images are taken during that time frame. Bone Mineral Density Tests take around 30 minutes on average.

What to bring to your appointment

When you schedule an appointment for a diagnostic x-ray, please bring the following items with you to your appointment:

  1. Your valid photo ID
  2. Your insurance card
  3. A list of any medications you are currently taking
  4. If you have had any prior x-rays or imaging studies, please bring copies of those with you or have your previous facility fax them over to us in advance.
  5. Please wear comfortable clothing as you may be asked to remove some clothing for the exam.
  6. You may also be asked to complete some paperwork when you arrive for your appointment. If you need assistance completing these forms, please ask one of our friendly staff members.

What happens when you arrive?

When you arrive for your diagnostic X-ray, you will be asked to sign in at the front desk. You will then be directed to the waiting area where you will have a seat until your name is called. Once called, you will follow the technologist to the exam room. There, you will be asked to remove any clothing or jewelry that might interfere with the image. You will then be positioned on the table and given instructions on how to hold still during the exam. The technologist will leave the room and operate the X-ray machine from behind a lead shield.

The exam usually takes just a few minutes. Once it is completed, you will be free to dress and return to your day. While there are no appointments necessary for X-rays and Bone Mineral Density tests, there are many options available when scheduling lab tests.
